How long do your nails need to be to have fake nails applied?

I'm too embarrassed to ask at a salon, but can fake fingernails be applied when you've bitten your nails down really far. Like, I only have little nubs left. They really look gross !!!How long do your nails need to be to have fake nails applied?
I felt the same way when I wanted to get mine done. Dont worry, they'll put them on there for you and just to be on the safe side, do what i do, tell them apply more glue to the nail. I have been getting them done since I was 18, havent had a salon turn me down yet and i bite my nails all the way down.How long do your nails need to be to have fake nails applied?
Yes you can it is no problem, It may hurt a little bit because you will not be so use to the long length, If you are trying to stop biting your nails this did not help me I had fake nails for 4 years, and I still Bite them today. Just be careful this is really damaging to your real nails because of the glue and filing done to them. Also make sure you take them completely off every three months so they can get some are and let your thin nails grow out then re apply ( about 2 weeks long with out them.)
a good nail salon should be able to work with what you have. Go for it........... it will make you feel and look better about yourself.
why did you bite your nails like that? Your nails don't have to be long. Mine have been really short and they cut them back anyway.
You can still get it done. I bite mine too.
ya..there just needs to be at least like 3 cm..for them to glue them on....it should b fine..if u make an appointment..once u get there..if there is a problem theyt will just tell u and schedual u for a manicure..
