Your nails will be all warped and nasty for awhile... the nail will eventually grow out and it will be fine. YOu can pay a nail shop to remove tham for you, they can be difficult to get off without ripping off your own nail...Is there permanent damage to fingernails after your remove professionally apllied acrylic nails from the salon
your real nails become weaker and there is a possibility of bacteria that could grow under you nail. I have done the acrylic thing several times and my nails now break extremely easily

soak them in polish remover. there will be damage but it's not permanent. they will be really weak and just kind of peel off for a while.
yeah... the whole process of getting acrylic nails is damaging to your real nails. It takes many layers of your nail of whne they use that power file on the top. If you remove your acrylic nails just be really careful with your natural nails. Don't buff them at all. You can use asatone to remove them, it's the only thing that works, but it's still really difficult. Trim the ends short and soak your fingertips in the asatone... they don't really disolve, just get soft, then you peel them off little by little. It might hurt some.
well its after you take them off andhow you remove them depends on how you want to....you can take them off w/ pliers or soke them in water till the glue is softened up and then you can peal them off but that takes for ever to do or you can get them takein off atyour salon but i am not sure
There is permanent damage to the existing nail but as your new nails grow these should not be damaged. To remove them you are best going to salon and getting them to remove them in acatone. Once removed, use rubber gloves when washing up and cleaning, nail strengthener, regular manicures (you can do this yourself at home once a week) and heaps of handcream (I recommend Vasaline Intensive Care Hand and Nails). no not permantly. you just gotta wait for the regular nail to grow back in cuz your nails look kinda funky after removing artificial nails.
If you pop them off, there will definitely be damage. It will tear the top layer of your nail off. Or you can soak them in pure Acetone. This takes about an hour for them to completely dissolve. There's much less damage, but the natural nail is left pretty soft and weak. I usually have to keep my nails very short after a soak for at least a month until the nail grows in stronger. Soaking is still the better option

Kind of. Permanent to your existing nails, but once they grow out. they'll be better. But I have to warn you, my nails are very snsitive so the one time I did acrylic nails, my fingers looked like an eaten liver out of a horrow movie when i tried to remove them. And all I did was soak them in acetone and then peel them off. Not a good idea!

There shouldn't be if they were done properly and you maintained re-fills. Preferably you should have them removed by a professional nail care person. They will soak your nails in salon quality remover and as the acrylic begins to soften, it will be gently filed out.





After that is done, you should have a hot oil manicure and since your nails are going to be very weak until they grow out, you must maintain the nail bed and cuticles with nightly treatments and keep your nails short and clean until they have completely grown out. If you can afford it, try to have professional manicures with hot oil at least every two to three weeks. At the very least, have one once a month.





Now this will sound a bit politically incorrect but I don't care.


Lastly I would highly recommend that you do not go to a Korean nail shop unless you are lucky to have a good one you can trust. Unfortunately the technicians TEND to tear off your cuticles rather than gently trim them by snipping as they go around the nail bed. The problem is that they do not allow you to soak long enough to soften the dead cuticle so that it can be easily trimmed.





I do not make this statement lightly. I wore acrylic from 1975 to 2003 and I had no problem ever because I am fortunate to live in NYC where I have great choices among highly trained and knowledgeable operators. It cost quite a bit more but I don't have the fear of infection because my nail beds were damaged by a bad manicure. When I can't afford to go, at least I now that the salon staff have given me enough tips that I can care for my nails in between appointments.
Nope, no permanent damage. You can either go back to the salon and they will soak them off, or you can just pop them off yourself. I usually would take a thin metal nail file and wedge it between my real nail and the acrylic nail and pop it off. It will leave your nails thinner and weaker for a while but they will be fine.

2. Soak them in nail polish remover for several minutes each, then they should lift a little with an orange stick. Don't rush it. Soak, lift, Soak, Lift. + it hurts...

no ..... ur nails will always grow out they are going to not be healthy until they grow out and u can also save ur nails a lil bit by soaking them off instead of ripping them off.
