How come when I paint my nails the polish dries with little bumps like air bubbles.?

And how do I prevent it from happening? How come when I paint my nails the polish dries with little bumps like air bubbles.?
Well here's the answer(s) to your air bubbles/bumps .... you never, ever, shake nail polish..... you gently, slowly roll it back-and-forth in the palms of your hands ..... too much shaking causes the bubbles and they do not settle by the time you apply your polish, end results ... the bubbles appear on your nails. Now, there is a difference between nail polish, nail lacquer, and nail enamel.... (did I spell that correctly) ..... lacquer and enamel are more costly than polish, never add nail polish thinner or water to your polish and it is a great idea to store your polish in the fridge ..... it applies easily and dries quicker when cold .... store on the lower shelves ..... happy nails to you! .....How come when I paint my nails the polish dries with little bumps like air bubbles.?
Shake the nail polish (not to violently, but a reasonable amount of shakes) and then leave it (depending on the nail polish) for anywhere between 30 seconds to 1 minute 30 seconds. You don't want to leave it too long or the nail polish will settle back and you will be back to where you were before you shook it.

A good technique is to put the nail polish between the palms of your hands and rub your palms together first (before shaking) as some polishes are thick and shaking doesn't quite do it alone.

The heat from your hands should make less thick and lumpy.

Also, wash your hands straight before you apply it. I know someone who washes her hands but still has the same problem. I told her to wash her nails really thoroughly because although they are clean (hygienically clean), sometimes the nail polish doesn't quite work properly if they are not thoroughly scrubbed. It's weird but... that someone tried it and it works and she does this every time now. (You could even use a nail scrubbing brush.)

When you dip the wand (/brush thing) into the nail polish, dab it inside the neck to wipe some of the excess off, otherwise it will be put on too thick and this could result in bumps and air bubbles. Try putting it on thinner but putting on 2 coats (or 3).

It dioesn't matter if the first coat is a bit see-through and not as thick as you would like it, just make sure that it is evenly spread.

Those are a few things that might solve the problem.
The air bubbles are most likely from shaking the bottle. Gently roll it between your palms. Never shake it. It could also be from applying too thick. Try two thin coats instead of one thick coat. That may help a lot in itself. Also, be sure to always use a high quality base coat. Base coat and clear polish are two different things. Don't use clear polish as a base coat. Use high quality products. Best wishes.
Look idk anything or nada about that, but I think you should do whatever everyone else is sayon shake the bottle and well I mean I guess paint them better idk I'm not a female and I don't things like that. Anyway. If anyone has myspace add me ;) url is 210_ryan
You may not be shaking your polish up enough before applying it to your nails. If you are shaking it enough it might just be the brand of nail polish, you may want to try a better brand of polish
There is many reasons. The most common is the brand of polish it sometimes is not good quality. Maybe try shaking it more.
Shake it.
