Where do they come from? Why? How can I remove them? How can I get rid of the white spots on my nails?
drink milk
someone told me that you get them from not drinking milk
it actually workedHow can I get rid of the white spots on my nails?
Excessive pressure while manicuring or a heavy blow to your nail can cause white spots to appear. Additionally, inadequate levels of zinc or calcium in your diet can also cause the formation of those pesky spots. Avoid white spots on your nails by following these simple steps.
1Improve your diet with plenty of calcium and zinc-rich foods. For people aged 16 years and over, the recommended daily intake of calcium is 800mg, and the recommended daily intake of zinc is 12 to 16mg. Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or post-menopausal need 1000 to 1200mg of calcium each day.
Step2Be gentle when manicuring your nails, especially around the cuticle area. White spots can be caused by heavy prodding and poking beneath the cuticles.
Step3Be gentle with your nails. Protect your hands with gloves when gardening or doing house work or any other kind of labor, and don鈥檛 use your nails to do things like remove staples from paper or open a soda can.
You can't--you're dying of cancer!
Seriously, it's either a calcium or zinc deficiency, or you're eating too much mayo.
Buy a calcium/magnesium supplement with zinc and take it before you go to bed. It will help you sleep and if the spots disappear, bonus!
some people say its lack of calcium and others says its just were you bang your nails. so drink plenty of milk or just be more careful with your nails to avoid knocking them. you cant remove them just got to let them grow out sorry. try nail varnish to cover it up :). hope i cud help
Do you drink alot of milk . . they could come from calcium build-up or you may have just damaged them by simply hitting them on something.
Don't worry a lot of people have them, even I.
And I drink A LOOOOOT of Milk!
its either a zinc deficiency or a knock on the nail bed before the nail grew out. once there you'll have to wait until they grow long enough to cut off but try eating zinc rich foods to prevent it in future
The thing is that you cant. Theres an old folk tale that actually might be true. The wite spots on your nails represent how many loves you willhave in your life so cont them up and just dont bother trying to get them off.!!.
i think it has something to do with iron deficiency so just start eating stuff with more iron and it not bc of calcuim bc i drink 5 glasses of milk a day and i still have them
If you use nailpolish that isn't good for your nail that could ause it or sometimes they just appear if you get the sally hansen nail whitener at a drugstore works so well the same thing happened with me.
It's a calcium deficiency. You will have to wait for them to grow out. Get more calcium in your system regularly.
idk how u get them !
i hate them !
but i dont know anything that can get rid of them !
u can paint ur nails
but the white things will go away buy there selfs !
i have them too !
thats how i know !!
I used to have them and I drank alot of milk. Try drinking alot of different fruit drinks or 5 a day including vegetables. Seems to work :)
They're calcium spots (it means you have low calcium)...just eat lots of calcium foods and they will go away on their own. Good Luck! :)
you might need some calcium there are some pillss you can take and they go away ask your doctor
Drink more milk. They are from calcium deficiency. Seriously.
the moons at the bottom? they indicate how strong and healthy your nails are... so if you want them gone..um....die, i guess.
It might be because of lack of iron in your system. Eat more beets and other iron rich foods. That or a lack of calcium.
they are from not enough calcium
drink more milk
I have this same problem! i still dont know what and how they got there! but your not alone!
paint them
haha. yea its from lack of calcium. drink and eat more dairy products!!! grr
my sis told me about them and she said they will go away themselves
Stop putting them there.
