Do painted nails dry faster when blasted with cold air or hot air?

I read somewhere that to dry your nails faster, you use a hairdryer. But it seems a little odd to me to dry it with hot air, it might actually slowe the process. Unfortunately, blowing air from a fan doesn't work that well either and I have to resort to blowing very hard on my nails.Do painted nails dry faster when blasted with cold air or hot air?
hot air helps them dry faster but there are some nail polishes that dry within a couple minutes which i personally prefer but if your crunched for time use a blow dryer just put it a couple inches away of else it'll do more harm than goodDo painted nails dry faster when blasted with cold air or hot air?
don't use a hairdryer! My nails looked so crappy after id that!

If you blow on your nails it reduces the shine, but I think blow dryer would help cut drying time.
