This can be tricky!!! I wonder why you want to take them off. My problem has always been that the darn things fall off before I'm ready!!!
You could go back to the salon and get them to do it.
Or you could soak your hands in nail varnish remover.

i always have fake nails and when i want them off i get my brother (who has HUGE front teeth) to chew them off for me. its always a help and is not painful at all. except when he accidentally bites my finger. haha

The best way to remove acrylic nails is to go to the beauty supply store and buy some acetone and let them soak for about 5 minutes and then file then with a nail filer. Repeat this process three times and they should come all the way off. Beauty hurts. Hope this helps

I've had mine removed before, actually by a nail salon. They used something that looks like a credit card. They just worked from the sides of the nails and popped them off. It was much easier and less painful than letting them soak in acetone based nail polish remover or clipping them off piece by piece. Hope this helps.
Acetone... soak your hands in acetone and they will come off but it will take some time. I have done it.. :)
Pliers should work. Or use a saw
You have to soak them in a bowl of straight acetone.
soak your nails in nail polish remover that has acetone.
You can go to the salon and let them pop them off like the last person said but that is sometimes PAIN FULL!!! If you have a little time just let them soak in acetone then buff them and put some ';hard as nail'; nail hardener on then because they maybe brittle
Acidtone nail polish remover. The NON acidtone will NOT remove them.
