Ladies, how do you like to have your nails done at a salon?

Color, style, etc...

Thank you!Ladies, how do you like to have your nails done at a salon?
I LOVE GETTING MY NAILS DONE. I GO EVERY 2 WEEKS. IT ONLY COSTS ME $13 WHICH IS PRETTY GOOD. MOST OTHER SALONS CHARGE MORE. ONCE IN AWHILE I GET A PEDICURE, BUT I'M SO TICKLISH ITS HARD TO RELAX AND ENJOY IT. WHEN I GET MY NAILS DONE I USUALLY GET A COLOR LIKE PINK OR RED. MY NAILS ARE SQUARED. SQUARED LOOKS BETTER THAN ROUND I THINK.Ladies, how do you like to have your nails done at a salon?
i love french manicure and i prefer white or red ( deep red) colour.
I have my nails done twice a week and I always have a french manicure and pedicure.
I've never been to a salon to get mine done. I have always done it myself. I like a french manicure but also like lots of colour so sometimes i do a french manicure with two different colour like pink and blue or purple for something different, or just nice, plain and buffed
french manicure ... but don't like fake nails ... never had any and don't want them ...they ruin your nails and always break ...but french manicure with a hot design is always stylish and guys like it ;)
I like mine in a french manicure
I usually go with square cut french manicure. Sometimes I will have them painted, like now they are this pretty coral color for summer. In the winter, I go dark.
REGULAR FRENH MANICURE, OR W/ RHINESTONES AND CRAP
french manicure and french pedicure a.k.a french mani-pedi !

sometimes if i want to treat myself to a little luxury i would... ask them to put little jewel designs on my toes and fingers!

THEY ARE SO CUTE!
I also like French manicure, when I attend our Prom my nails is done like that because it is good to all kind of nails and it makes your feet beautiful!
I also do the French Manicure nice and simple and not to flashy heck why do I want people paying more attention to my nails than my beautiful face, lol. I do the French Manicure for real though.
It's pretty cool.
I like them not very long cause only porn stars have huge nails, but very healthy by look. I like french manicure, no colour shining polish and the tip of the nail in white. That is the best manicure and it gives a very clean and healthy impression on that woman. Also white sparkling polish is sweet, it makes your nails look like pearls.
Yes ! French... my own nails... NO FAKE!!!!! NEVER !!!!
hmm..i will b nice...i get it done evry tym at de parlour..!!
french manicure...
Not too long, rounded, and a pale coat of polish. Classy and super-easy to maintain.

Do prenatal vitamins really clear up skin, make hair silkier and grow faster, and make nails stronger?

and are there any downsides or dangers in taking them if you're not pregnant or even close to becoming pregnant?Do prenatal vitamins really clear up skin, make hair silkier and grow faster, and make nails stronger?
No they don鈥檛鈥?You often hear they do but that is a misconception. A prenatal vitamin is actually not as potent as a normal vitamin. A fetus can be harmed if the fat salable vitamins and specific minerals are too high.

The reason why women often experience great hair and nails during pregnancy is due to the changes her body is going through. Additionally a woman鈥檚 caloric intake increases thus more nutrients are available / absorbed.

Hope that helps,

TWDo prenatal vitamins really clear up skin, make hair silkier and grow faster, and make nails stronger?
I've been on them for 8 months and haven't noticed anything like that. I've had three doctors tell me that if there's any chance that you could get pregnant, it doesn't hurt to start taking prenatals. If you're taking antibiotics or anything else that could make your bc less effective. It's just higher amounts of iron, folic acid and some other regular vitamins and minerals. Shouldn't hurt you.
supposedly I dunno I never tried them. but you can take 'hair skin and nail' vitamins and they will work really good! that's what I take! I buy them at the walmart beauty salon. But I'm sure you could get them at almost any place where they do hair.
I'm on prenatal vitamins and I haven't noticed anything different than when I wasn't on them. I sure would like my hair to grow faster though...
No, this is a misconception, it is pregnancy that actually causes those things. There are some vitamins that help with hair growth and nail strength, you should look into which specific ones can help you.
Do not take prenatal vitamins if you are not pregnant! They can be highly toxic to non pregnant people. They are meant only for pregnant women and have been specifically formulated for that reason (for two people to get their vitamins one of which who is growing another human being inside of her). Again, it can be very toxic to non pregnant people.

How to light a bulb with two candles nails and magnet.?

Ive seeing a video clip of a person take 2 nails and stick them into 2 candles (each nail to each candle) and take the magnet rub the surface of the magnet against the nail to magnetize it (for both of the nails) and than he attach wire to each of the nail connect the other side of the wire to a bulb from a flashlight. now he light-up each candle There you go the bulb is lighting.

My questions is what create the energy for the light to turn on and why we need a candles.

Thank YouHow to light a bulb with two candles nails and magnet.?
I couldn't believe it when I saw this question, I saw this video too a while ago, one thing I know is that it's fake. If you pause the video at 2:23 you can clearly see that the person behind the table is reaching underneath it for a switch or something, and when the light bulb turns on his hand is under table.

.How to light a bulb with two candles nails and magnet.?
Hi. I suppose it's possible that the nails act as a thermocouple. The candles would supply heat energy.
I've never seen that myself, but it might be possible.

The magnet puts a charge of electrons into the nails with flow from postive to negative between the bulb and the other nail. The candle is an insulator to keep them from grounding out.
imma leave and neva come back
Correct.

There is a sort of Peltier effect taking place causing the current to flow. A thermo-electric module which I *think* are being used in some fashion as heat sinks for over-clockers (over-clocking computer processors).

You supply the power and it causes a very stark cooling effect to take place. Conversely, if you heat/cool the device it will/can output a current.

Further...if the vid is fake, it doesn't dismiss the fact that you CAN cause a current to be set up by using dissimilar metals/and temp diff's.
I agree with Cirric, I think the nails are made of different metals and thus a temperature gradient is set-up due to one of the metals being a better thermal conductor than the other.

The electrons then flow from one nail to the other via the wire connecting the nails.

How do you painy polka dots on your nails without smudging them??

Without buying the kind with the sharp metal tip. Just regular nail polish. How do you painy polka dots on your nails without smudging them??
Hey, I love doing that to my nails, I first paint my nail a solid colored base. Then I let it dry, I take a toothpick and I go to the flat side and if you don't have a flat side on your toothpick, using a knife just cut off a TINY amount of the sharp part so it's flat. Then you can dip the end of the toothpick into any color you want and make different colored polka dots too.

Good Luck : )How do you painy polka dots on your nails without smudging them??
with a toothpick. :)
Well, from my experience what i do is pour some on a lil top ,not much and then i`d use a sharp pencil to start making the dots or any other design
let the first coat dry then using a toothpick just dot the dots on (:
Let somebody else do it or go to a salon.
Use a toothpick.

Dont put too much nail polish.
Paint your nails one color %26amp; wait for it to dry. When it dries, paint polkadots (by carefully painting it with the brush) in another color.

What is the best color to get your nails painted???

black!!! it rocks!!!What is the best color to get your nails painted???
your favorite colorWhat is the best color to get your nails painted???
depends....

if you prefer to have your nails long, go for the lighter shades or simply french manicure.

if what you have in mind are bright and dark colours like blood red, black, bright orange etc, it's better to keep your nails trimmed short.

lowest maintenance would be glitters! just put on one to two layers of glitters for a faint shimmery look. what's more, even if a small corner is chipped, high chances are even you yourself cant notice it! LOL
It depends what time of year. In the winter you should go with darker colors like black, dark purple, dark red. In the summer use ligher colors like pinks, ligh purples, or french. Other than that you should pick your favorite color.
I like pinks or lavenders.

I also like the french tips that are colored. I recently had light pink tips done and it was really cute
black
I like black, but any color is just right, i paint my toe nails any bright color i want, but i don't paint my finger nails.
For low maintenance, try a nude color (like pale pink or beige). If you don't mind going back every week or so try a classic red or a French manicure -- they are more high maintenance finishes but they also go with everything.
BLACK

PURPLE

NUDE

RED

FRENCH TIP!!
black or purple!!
It all depends on what colors you like. I personally like the French Manicure. It costs a bit more but theyre pretty. Pinks and reds are the best color to get paint, and its pretty much what most salons have.

  • Do I need to trim my Guinea pigs nails?

If so do I they have qwiks like dogs?Do I need to trim my Guinea pigs nails?
yes if you dont and they get to long they could curve into the feet pads and could inpare his or her wlking you can use regular nail clipers but do not use regular scissors or you could ruin the nail.hope i helped !!!!!!!!Do I need to trim my Guinea pigs nails?
occasionally u mqy have to clip their nails so they dont scrath everything
    Yes!
if u like ur little guina pigs BE CARE FULL!!! look better if specialist
Yes, they do need to be clipped, and yes, they do have a quick, like a dog.

With white nails it's very easy to see the quick (it's pink). With brown or beige nails, you can generally shine a flashlight underneath them and see it from the light.

    http://www.guinealynx.info/nails.html
I would not recommend this. Bring it to a trained professional.
Guinea Pigs do have a vein in the nail like dogs. You should clip the nails at the tip regularly to prevent serious injury to the guinea pig with nails that curve and grow under, preventing them from grooming and walking properly. If you are not comfortable timming the nails, take your pet to a vet to have them show you or to trim them.

    Best,

    Katie
yes otherwise it will become very sick and you will have to take it to the vet
    dont do it!

take them to the vet to get it done. I think that can hurt them if its not done right and start infections
no,you're better off letting him run around on some concrete take him for a walk
of course you need to trim your guinea pigs nails!!!!!!every month i would say.

Pet rats nails cause hives on my skin, will it stop?

I have 2 baby pet rats.. I LOVE them to death, they're the sweetest things ever!! ..But.. I have really sensitive skin and I knew this before I got them, but their nails bother my skin and give me hives wherever their nails touch me. I wear a sweatshirt whenever I hold them or play with them, but they love to climb around my neck where the sweat shirt doesn't cover and I get hives there, and sometimes on the backs of my hands. I do my best not to scratch cause that might irritate it more. But my question is, Will my skin get used to it after time so that I wont get hives anymore? Or will it never stop and I'll just have to deal with it..?Pet rats nails cause hives on my skin, will it stop?
I'm a hobby breeder, and I have the same problem. I have learned to keep their cages as clean as possible, and keep a bottle of the benadryl spray around. I get hives and red marks too, but the benadryl gets rid of the irritation. You may also consider having them walk across an aloe vera type huggies baby wipe. That will clean a bunch of the allergen type stuff on their nails off and it won't bother you so much. If you do all of this stuff and it is till unbearable then you have more info. to make a decision. These things handle the problem for me, and help me to continue enjoying these amazing animals!Pet rats nails cause hives on my skin, will it stop?
I have this problem too with my baby rats. I had an adult rat before as a pet, and he never gave me a rash... these babies do though. I don't know what the difference is.

Most likely you are allergic to rats. If that is the case, no it will never stop. You may want to consult an allergist for testing to be sure though.
if ur getting hives maybe ur alergic or something to them . i would take them to the vet and see if there is an infection under there nails first. cuz if there is u might be allergic to that instead. but most likely ur allergic to ur rats
Sounds like your allergic. Just make sure you wash up with soap and water real well after handling your rats.
