Im not a goth and my orientation is tomorrow so its now or never lol. I have other colors but I see moddels and actresses with black nail polish...I heard it was all the rage these days? Is this true?Do you think I should paint my nails black?
Do whatever makes you feel good. Don't worry about who is wearing what. Make a statement, show people how colorful you are.
If Black paint makes you happy why not? Paint can be taken off in a jiffy and it is definitely not permanent like a tattoo or a piercing. So If it looks good, then maybe you will be the leader and others will follow.

I think you should. I like painting mine black it looks cool. I'm not goth either.. and if you don't like it heck there's always remover. so there's nothing to lose here.. so totally GO FOR IT.
For an orientation? I don't think it's such a good color, but it's okay. Any colors nowadays are pretty. I would go with a dark blue or something instead of black.

Good luck on your orientation. They can't really judge it on your nails. So keep that in mind whichever color you choose =)
It's cute - but don't do it because someone else is - if you want it - sure! I lol because I painted my nails as a teenager black - and I have never been goth. i just loved the color.
yep. i always paint mine black. its really cute if they arent really long. just dress kinda preppy, well, not tottally preppy just like not goth, :)
Don't always follow trends, you make your own. You be the leader not the follower. You are your own person. But i say go for it! If you do decide to paint your nails black make sure to use a clear base coat( a clear fingernail polish will work fine.) make sure to put this on first . This will protect your natural nail and will not stain them. Then apply a top coat (again you can use clear nail polish for this also) on top of that to protect the polish . This will keep the polish shiny and will last longer without the polish chipping off. Just make sure you let the polish dry inbetween coats. My suggestion is to just paint your nails clear with the tips of your nails painted white or black! like a french manicure. It looks so clean and feminine. You can buy a kit at walmart that has the polish and the tape strips to do this with. Its really easy and inexpensive to do yourself then going to a salon!

I sometimes paint my nails ';almost'; black, and I am a cute trendy mom! I have found that it looks a little better if the color is just a shade off of black. I have one that looks black when on, but it is a very dark pewter. I think the look is less severe.
I think you should paint your nails whatever color you want, whether it's in fashion, goth or what. They're your nails, and no one really pays attention to them. Just like models have black nails now, I know Goths with white nails, so leave the stereotypes alone, and do what you want. They're just nails, and it's just orientation. No one's going to judge you if they're black.

If you want to paint your nails black, then go ahead. It's not permanent, so you can get rid of it with nail polish remover or it'll chip off later on.
I've got no idea if it's ';all the rage'; these days. I don't really pay much attention to what everyone else is doing/ wearing.
It depends on what your orientation is for. If you need to appear professional, you should go for a more basic color. If not you can always do a french manicure and instead of white at the tip use black. Its classy and stylish!!
If you want to try it go ahead. Those I have noticed wearing it do have shorter nails otherwise you light look a little like Elvira. I am more of a french manicure girl but, if you like it, go for it!
